Nike Gearing Up For Air Max Day

Nike Gearing Up For Air Max Day

Air Max lovers, it feels just like yesterday since Nike hit 30 years anniversary. Time flies by when you’re wearing fly kicks right? But the time doesn’t just fly by. The design team improves, new materials are being discovered and developed – and don’t forget about the collaborations that take place.

Since it almost Air Max Day again, Nike revealed some of the silhouettes they’ve been working on lately. And we think you would agree that they should come in stronger than the anniversary editions and collabs. As you may’ve seen on various high profile Instagram accounts, some previews were shown by influencers such as Skepta and Sean Wotherspoon. One that shook grounds was the loving Nike Air Max Tn, now with a very comfortable VaporMax outsole. The model dubbed as the VaporMax Plus will be available on Nike’s SNKRS and SNEAKRS (Europe domain), which will be followed up by a wider release on January 25th.

Not only is Nike releasing the VaporMax Plus, some nostalgic silhouettes will hit shelves again. The Air Max 180 and Air Max 93 are both coming back in OG colorways, releasing on February 2nd.

And now the cherry on the cake. Sean Wotherspoons’ Air Max 1/97 is being released on Air Max Day. The multi colored sneaker that fuses an Air Max 1 with a 97 was the creation at a design contest last year. Wotherspoon won the contest with this corduroy textured hybrid which is now up for mass grabs during Air Max Day.

Stay tuned for more information regarding the releases. For now, check and see if your favorite sneaker from back in the day is coming back.
