As if Rotterdam wasn’t dope enough. It just opened it’s first fully tech driven City Hub Hotel.
The Tech Hub hotel opened up in the most artsy street of Rotterdam: Witte de Withstraat. It features 126 futuristic sleeping units, a “digital first” lobby and an app that helps travellers to navigate through the city and it’s hotspots.
The sleeping units are very minimalistic and the designers really used the space at hand to it’s fullest. CityHub combines the privacy and comfort of a hotel with the sense of community and the affordability of a hostel. In the historic building on the Witte de Withstraat are 126 sleek designed private sleeping units called ‘Hubs’. Each Hub is equipped with a comfortable king size bed, WiFi, personalized mood lighting and Bluetooth music streaming. In the CityHub Hangout, the beating heart where travelers and locals meet, the traveler can use the personal wristband to operate the bar and check in with his own hands. Traveling has never been easier.
So if you choose to travel to Rotterdam, why not sleep in something dope and affordable for a hectic city like Rotterdam.
Hubs (for two people) can be booked from € 40 per night via City Hub.
