Four Amsterdam has announced a collab with Off-White; Next Saturday a complete collection of the Amsterdam clothing store and the brand of Virgil Abloh will be released. Four is the shop for high-end streetwear in Amsterdam and has been selling brands like Raf Simons, Balenciaga, Vetements Maison Margiela and Heron Preston for years now.
For Off-White they were one of the first retailers in The Netherlands; that is why the choice for a collaboration with Four by Virgil is logical choice. The concept of the collection is based on ‘Dutch Masters’. Amsterdam is known worldwide for producing the best painters in the world. Think of Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Steen and of course Vincent van Gogh. This was also taken as the basis of this concept. Art is of course very characteristic of Amsterdam, but also for Off-White. The first collection of Off-White was also based on well-known paintings – match made in heaven.
The Rijksmuseum is mainly in the collection. An illustration of the museum can be found on the t-shirts and hoodies. In addition, the colors of Amsterdam, red, white and black are also strongly reflected in the collection. Of course we also see the well-known Off-White branding on the pieces. In addition to t-shirts and hoodies, the collection also includes socks, a belt and a waist bag.
