The Design Assembly collection will return this fall with a seasonal update of new and trendy designs. The capsule collection consists of shoes, clothing, and accessories for women. This season, the designers got their inspiration from the past and they came up with a collection that is reminiscent of the 90s skate scene. Everything is done in rich colors, including black, white and bossa nova, sunflower yellow and checkerboard motifs. The clothing collection consists of oversized fits, which are equipped with modern prints and unique design elements. The items can be combined as an ultimate style uniform.
The designers of Vans have revived an old logo and incorporated it in the shoes, clothing, and accessories; like the Chromo Top, it has a short, wide fit and the center front logo. The Chromo LS Top is an insulating mock neck-top that can be worn underneath as a layer. The top is finished with a Vans logo patch on the chest. The Chromo Twofer hoodie combines the torso of a hoody without sleeves with a long sleeve underneath. This makes the garment seem to consist of two layers. Nine types of shoes are included in the Design Assembly collection. Here we see the silhouettes of the Sk8-Hi, the Style 29, the Authentic and the Classic Slip-On. The Sk8-Hi and Style 29 are equipped with the collection logo on the tongue so that it stands out. And to capture the essence of the range inspired by the 90s, every style of shoes is covered with matching soft corduroy in the colors black, bossa nova, sunflower, and heliotrope.
The collection is about to drop on July 23rd. But first, here’s the visuals to get you amped up!
