LeonLeon Is Bringing You A New Type Of Wedding-wear

LeonLeon makes unique clothing for special occasions for both women and men. The collection consists of an accessible made-to-measure wedding and party collection for a clientele that is looking different than usual and can appreciate craftsmanship. The mission of Klaassen Bos is to start a personal search together with the customer. The most important starting point: find a (wedding) dress or festive outfit that fits you best, in which you are the best version of your seductive self. Since the 1980s, Leon Klaassen Bos has made a name for himself thanks to his own label or in the service of great designers such as Yves Saint Laurent. The designer now proudly presents the LeonLeon collection.

All LeonLeon designs are manufactured using couture techniques such as Klaassen Bos has learned them in Paris. He is master of the sophisticated coupe with which he makes men and women look powerful and sexy. For an androgynous, contemporary glamor, he plays with fabrics and elements that are typically ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine’. French lace for men, tuxedo suits for women are examples, but also obliquely cut clothing next to corsets for him and her.

The theme of the LeonLeon collection is love and all forms of relationships that make our world rich. LeonLeon has therefore developed a wedding and party collection with a mission. The thoughts behind the collection go beyond just a made-to-measure wedding collection and are also very accessible. In the beautiful building on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal everyone is welcome whether you are getting married yourself or your partner is looking for the perfect outfit or you are the mother of the bride. LeonLeon stands for inclusiveness: women, but also men can go for a wedding outfit. A number of designs are inspired by gay weddings. The starting point: be inspired by the collection, but make it fit and think in possibilities. Here’s a look at the collection:
