Hudson’s Bay ‘Everybody Front Row’, was a really good way of showing the fashion world that fashion events are way more fun when everybody gets the chance to be ‘front row’.
The department store has opened its doors for only a year in the Netherlands and with this presentation of the autumn-winter collection 2018 immediately issued a clear business card. The styles presented showed really made it clear that fashion has no age, color or gender. Fashion is for everybody, whether it’s your daughter in a Burberry dress or your grandad in his Nike trainers, fashion is living through everyone. Everyone can do everything this fall. The items were styled by a team of 3 stylists – each with their own vision and expertise and the whole was cheerful with lots of colors and made sense in thick coats, sweaters and layering. And not just the selection of brands was diverse, the models were also a clear example that Hudson’s Bay wants to democratize fashion. In total there were 30 models. From men to women, from young to old and from petite to a size more.
‘Everybody Front Row’ made the collection literally accessible to everyone. Here’s the imagery of the show and the video on IGTV.
