The Swedish sports fashion brand Björn Borg drops its new ‘ARCHIVE’ capsule collection today and takes you back in time. The famous head designer of Björn Borg from the 80s, Rhodi Heintz, was the inspiration for this line and his signature is clearly visible.
The progressive Rhodi Heintz became known throughout the world as one of the first fashion designers to show interest in designing unisex clothing. His legendary 80’s designs are characteristic of Björn Borg’s tennis heritage.
“It was so cool to go back in time and get inspired by what Björn Borg’s designers did in the 80s. The style and drawings of this era were a great inspiration to us when we created this ‘ARCHIVE’ capsule collection.” Mija Nideborn, Design Director at Björn Borg.
Heintz’s creativity and style can be seen in this retro collection: unisex sports items in color blocking style. The collection consists of six items and is available online and in stores from today. In the Netherlands, the collection is available at Hudson’s Bay. View the collection here.
