This season Palladium celebrates its most iconic style, the PAMPA HI. Inspired by the brands past where the PAMPA has always been a symbol of fight and resistance, Palladium launches the PAMPALICIOUS. With a bubble-gum feel, these PAMPA hi-tops bring a message of female empowerment and encouragement to burst the bubble on female stereotypes. The pastel colors and translucent rubber details are sweet, but equality is even sweeter. Throughout the decades, the PAMPA has become a symbol of pride for the youth looking for freedom.
Today, more than ever, the brand’s aim is to support young people in their journey and struggle for positive change. Embracing rights & positive movements, such as the care for our planet, women’s equality and the protest for a better society.
The PAMPALICIOUS PAMPA hi-tops have a cotton canvas upper and lining. The boots are finished with a single-unit molded rubber outsole, offering excellent traction while the EVA footbed and hugging heel cup provide lasting support. The PAMPALICIOUS PAMPA hi-tops are available in yellow, blue, green and pink.
To celebrate the launch of the new color-ways and those who embrace the unexpected, Palladium invited UK photographer Ronan Mckenzie for an inspirational talk in the Palladium store in Amsterdam. The photographer is known for her empowering images, promoting diversity throughout her work. During the talk, Ronan inspired the crowd by talking about her road to success, obstacles and embracing your own rules.
In line with the PAMPALICIOUS story, Palladium collaborated with Amsterdam based visual artist Marilyn Sonneveld to create a storefront window design. Knowing the artists from her illustrations of women, bodies, flowers and sexuality, the artists created a window with attitude, expressing freedom, resistance and equality.
