K-Swiss’ mission is to outfit and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. To celebrate Kingsday, the brand has put two Dutch entrepreneurs at the heart of their campaign, Kimberly Jenneskens and Atakan Akardere.
Kimberly Jenneskens who’s a fashion designer of her own label Jenneskens and Atakan Akardere who’s known from the music and events industry are featured in a wild poster campaign around the city. Not to mention, a social media campaign featuring a video by Safi Graauw and talks with both entrepreneurs at the K-Swiss pop-up store at Huidenstraat 13.
The two entrepreneurs had the opportunity to recreate two silhouettes for Kingsday. The newly introduced CR-Castle has been updated with an orange suede and mesh upper, with red, white and blue (Dutch flag) lace loop details. The Court Chiswick has a white leather upper with the five stripe branding updated to reflect the Dutch flag. The two limited edition sneakers will be exclusively available at sneaker store Sidestep.
