PUMA AND CHINATOWN MARKET’S FIRST COLLECTION EVOKE DIY AESTHETICS

PUMA and CHINATOWN MARKET are stepping up the game with a fresh take on sport-inspired silhouettes. With designs that reimagine classic slogans and bold graphics, the first PUMA x CHINATOWN MARKET collection features removable and interchangeable elements adding to the DIY feel.

When it comes to style, designer Mike Cherman creates his own rules. The DIY-aesthetic brand Mike started, Chinatown Market, is no different. Inspired by the fast-moving pace and style of New York’s famous Canal Street, Chinatown Market stands out with daring attitude, fun graphics, and cheeky prints.

Recreating PUMA’s modern and iconic silhouettes, the collection drops unique renditions of the latest STORM sneaker and classics like Suede and Ralph Sampson. With a chunky cloud-shaped sole, the STORM CHINATOWN MARKET features a mesh base with overlays in nubuck and leather. The bright yellow CHINATOWN MARKET woven label on the lateral side and multi-colored PUMA print on the tongue complete the look. Calling attention to iconic silhouettes, the collab drops PUMA Suede CHINATOWN MARKET decked with black and yellow checkered patterns and Ralph Sampson Lo CHINATOWN MARKET with multi-colored interchangeable Formstripes.

The collab also extends to trend-worthy apparel like the PUMA x CTM Colorblock Tee and a playful PUMA x CTM AOP Crew imitating the unique feature of DIY product. The collection also covers a large, transparent PUMA x CTM Tote Bag and retro inspired flat brim PUMA x CTM Cap.

The PUMA x CHINATOWN MARKET collection will be available at Panthers, Epic, Patta, Woei and Burned. The collection will also launch globally on online and PUMA stores worldwide on July 11.
